I saw some negative reviews about quality, but based on price, I purchased anyway. So far, I have had no issues with this lens cover. For the price, I can't complain about it's quality. It snaps closed, and springs open solidly as expected. It fit perfectly on my Burris MTAC for my 5.56 AR15. I only do range visits with this gun. If you are going hunting with this scope, or you are rough on your gear, this might not be the cap for you. But for the money, it does the job.

No issues with this lens cap. Mine is working as advertised. The cover snaps in place with a audible click, and flips open with the adequate amount of spring tension when deployed. Nice snug fit on my Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24. This is going on a HD rig and will see some range time. No plans to hunt with it in the bush, so I'm not concerned about it snagging on anything. If it breaks, it breaks. These are cheap. Buy another one. Buy a couple extra if you have to. Cheap insurance for your objective.

I have used these for a very long time now, and rely on them heavily for there ease and design.
