I own these for all my scopes, a must have! Use a caliper to insure a proper fit... Even in thick cover and on the back of a 4 wheeler they did not fall off...

All my scopes wear Butler Creek flip up covers for the simple reason that they're inexpensive, reliable, and quiet. While not toally silent, I have opened my scope cover less than 15 yards from a whitetail deer without alerting the animal to my presence. They are unaffected by cold (I'm talking 15 degrees above zero, those of you in northern Alaska might have issues though I doubt it) and maintain their snug fit around the scope's ocular without marring it. I wouldn't (and don't) use anything else.
