Make sure you find the right sizing for your scope else it won't work right.

I purchased this at the same time I bought the Butler Creek 19 Eyepiece. Both of them fit my Nikon P223 perfectly. My Nikon came with the bunjee-type scope cover and that can easily be lost or the bunjee could break. Now that I have these covers, I have no worries and can bring up my rifle, flip open the covers and acquire the target a lot faster now. Plus these covers protect the lens of both the Objective and the Eyepiece so you don't have to worry about damaging your scope lens. These are great products (Butler Creek 19 and Butler Creek 31) and well worth the small amount I paid for both. If you own a Nikon P223, then I would highly suggest picking up both of these great products. Thanks again Amazon for the quick (and free) shipping!

One thing to remember with the objective side is that if you have a scope that rotates to change the focal length then this will rotate with it. This isn't completely a problem as you probably can probably set it up for your proper yardage and the cover will still flip open, it just might not be straight up as it shows in the picture.
